Obituary of William S. Antonio
William S. Antonio, 95, Seward, went to be with the Lord December 16, 2019 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. Born October 30, 1924 in Bolivar the son of the late Nicholas and Madeline (Castelli) Antonio. Also preceded in death by sisters Louise Nee, Mary Burkett, Lena Winegar and Thelma Bender. Brothers Patsy and Ralph Antonio.
Survived by wife of 66 years Wanda (Lichtenfels) Antonio. Children Vicki L. Slonka (Frank); Teresa Forsythe (Greg): David Antonio (Brenda), all of Seward. Grandchildren Greg Forsythe (Tanya), Fairchance; Leigh Ann Henderson (Jason), Burke, VA; and Jarid Antonio (Jennifer), Cranberry Twp. Great-grandchildren Gianna Forsythe, Lillian and Acadia Henderson, Colton Antonio. Step-grandsons Barry Ressler (Amanda), Seward and Craig Ressler (Amanda), Huntsville, OH. Step-great grandchildren Elisabeth, Maya, Eli, Owen, Issac and Aden Ressler. Brothers Rudolph Antonio (Alice), Bolivar; and Richard Antonio, Pottstown, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Bill is a retiree from Bethlehem Steel Corp. after 33 years of service. Member of Cramer United Methodist Church where he served as a Trustee for many years and Armagh Senior Center. He loved to spend time gardening as well as going hunting and camping. Bill had many friends at Beacon Ridge Home in Indiana where he resided. He enjoyed spending time with all his children and grandchildren.
Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia Street, Armagh, where service will be held 11 AM Saturday. Pastors Carol Hickman and Marjorie Kiefer officiating, Interment Germany Lutheran Cemetery.
