Obituary of James L. Caldwell

James L. Caldwell, 92, New Florence passed away March 21, 2020 at home. Born August 3, 1927 in W. Fairfield the son of late James H. and E. Frances (Krouse) Caldwell. Also preceded in death by brothers Dallas and George Caldwell; grandson in-law Matt Humberger. Survived by wife of 70 years Margie (Garland) Caldwell. Children James Caldwell and wife Joanna, New Florence; Yvonne Kellerman and husband James, Blairsville; Cynthia Craig and husband Jeffrey, Harrisburg; Jerry Caldwell and wife Paula, Nanty Glo; Douglas Caldwell, New Florence. Grandchildren Lori Kihm and husband Joe, North Carolina; Jill Humberger, Leechburg; James Kellerman and wife Renee, Blairsville; Philip Kellerman and wife Krista, Blairsville; Jennifer Arsenault and husband Jonathan, Florida; Apryle Szablewski and husband Zach, Washington. Great-grandchildren Nicolas Arsenault, Mitchell Kellerman, Liam Arsenault, Olivia Kellerman, Elliotte Kellerman and Abram Kellerman. Brother Lewis Caldwell, New Florence. Sisters-in-law Margaret Caldwell, Johnstown and Mary Ann Caldwell, New Florence. Jim was a loving husband and care giver for his wife as well as a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He enjoyed going to car shows and the Model A Ford he totally rebuilt and resorted. Jim could be found working around the house or helping others. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII, retired employee of Westinghouse, Derry, Grinding Dept. At This time due to current public health concerns there will be no public visitation of service. The family assisted by Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home. Interment Germany Lutheran Cemetery.
