He was a selfless man who always put others before himself. He loved God and he loved his family with every ounce of his being. He taught us to love each other, forgive quickly and cherish the times that we had together. He loved the times that he spent with his family. On many Saturday nights, you could find him sitting around the dining room table with his kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews playing games. We would play and laugh into the early morning hours. Dad was an avid outdoorsman. He taught his son and grandchildren to hunt, fish and respect the outdoors.
In his final years, Dad worked on completing his bucket list. Most notably, sky diving and parasailing. All 27 of us were blessed to spend one of his last weeks at the beach together. Pap worked all summer to be able to walk Chezli “My Girl” down the aisle for her beach wedding.
We would like to thank Dr. Ibrahim Sbeitan for helping us with this battle. Dad thought very highly of him and trusted him with his life.
Dad/Pap was our hero. We all strive to be the person he taught us to be.
