Obituary of Gary C Fry

Gary C Fry, 65, New Florence, Committed to the hands of the Lord Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Memorial Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. Born February 24, 1945 in E. Wheatfield Twp., the son of the late Edward E. and the late Erma (Mateer) Fry. Also preceded in death by brothers Charles and Homer Fry. Survived by loving wife: Denise A (Locher) Fry; children Daniel Fry, Philadelphia; Joseph Cernak III, Virginia; Tammie Eisenhuth and husband Paul, Johnstown; grandchildren Kayla William and Mariah Eisenhuth, both Johnstown; sister Twila Kerschner and husband Russell, FL; mother-in-law Pearl Locher; several nieces and nephews; buddy and partner-in-crime Joe "Snappy" Cernak, Jr. A combat decorated Marine Corps veteran of Vietnam who attended St. John Gualbert Cathedral and enjoyed hunting. May he rest in peace and may God bless and keep him. Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 pm Tuesday at Kenneth A.. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence, where service will be held 9 am Wednesday. Rev. Charles Bridges. Interment Benshoff Hill Cemetery. Grave site military rite by Conemaugh Valley Marine Corps. Detachment
