Obituary of Samuel D. Wallace

Samuel D. Wallace, 84, New Florence died Monday, January 24, 2011 at Memorial Medical Center Johnstown. Born October 21, 1926 in W. Wheatfield Twp. the son of late Samuel and Hulda (Hood) Wallace. Survived by his wife of 56 years Noami (Miller) Wallace , children Shirley Hastings and husband Gary; Barb Stokes and husband Rob; Rob Wallace and wife Cindy, all of New Florence; grandchildren Allison (Hastings) Weir and husband Stephen and Greg Hastings both of Greensburg; Cullen Stokes and wife Brandy, Tyler Stokes and fianc Kelli Marra, Chelsea Wallace and Chase Wallace, all of New Florence; great-grandson Caz Robert Stokes; sister Nancy Kraybill, Hollidaysburg. Life time member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, New where he served as an elder. His passions were his grandchildren and farming. Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 pm Thursday at Kenneth A.. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence, Funeral Service 11 am Friday at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 5th and Chestnut Streets, New Florence. Rev. Barry Young. Interment Bethel Cemetery.
