Obituary of Earl W. Crusan

Earl W. Crusan, 85, Armagh, died Friday, January 28, 2011 at Altoona Regional Hospital. Born June 16, 1925 in Bolivar the son of the late Harmon and Nellie (Wynn) Crusan. Also preceded in death by wife, Norma M. (Ressler) Crusan; brothers James, Willard, Johnny and Clarence Crusan; sistes Orpha Kinzey and Esther Arford. Survived by children Jeffrey Crusan and wife Fay, Cramer; Eunice Roppolo and husband Richard of Pueblo West, CO; Donald Crusan and wife Maria, Butler; grandchildren. Jeremy Crusan, Aimee Cammerilli, Michael Crusan, Shannon Roppolo, Richard Roppolo, Samuel Roppolo, Benjamin Crusan, Emily Crusan; 12 great-grandchildren; sister Ethel Emmerson, Armagh; brother Blair Crusan, Bolivar US Army Veteran of WWII having served with 101st Ariborne, 501st Div, Co E Reg., 2nd Bat., SED58VAD. Recipient of three Purple Heart, one Silver Star and one Bronze Star medals. Attended Valley Grace Brethren Church. Member of Duane Boring VFW Post 9310, Robinson. Friends received 7-9 pm Sunday and 2-4 and 7-9 pm Monday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh where service will be held 11 am Tuesday Rev. Norris B. Mason. Private Interment Armagh Cemetery. Military rite by local veteran organization.
