Obituary of Betty B Trimble

Betty B. (Berkstresser) Trimble, 90, New Florence died March 11, 2011 at Ligonier Gardens. She was born February 10, 1921 in Woodvale, daughter of the late Homer H. and Ella (Pease) Berkstresser. She was preceded in death by husband Fred Trimble in 1999 and dear niece Bernadette Berkstresser-Sherer in 2000. Betty was the last of her immediate family to die having been also preceded in death by brothers Glenn, John and George Berkstresser and sisters Ethel Shingler, Mary Fry and Olive Berkstresser. She was a member of New Florence United Methodist Church and was a retired employee of the former Johnstown Bank and Trust where she worked for 43 years. In honoring Betty's wishes there will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held 1 pm Tuesday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence with Rev. William Pieringer officiating. Internment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
