Obituary of Charles B. Penrose

Penrose, Charles B., 87, Armagh passed away peacefully January 17, 2019 at home.  Born January 4, 1932 in W. Wheatfield Twp. the son of late Hazel (Penrose) Lichtenfels.  Also preceded in death by infant sons Ricky and Rodney Penrose; brothers George, Francis and Edward Lichtenfels; sister Erma Patricko.  Survived by wife of 65 years Lena Irene (Marsh) Penrose; brothers Robert Lichtenfels, Seward; Carl Lichtenfels, Seward; Richard Lichtenfels, Armagh; William Lichtenfels, Bolivar; Leonard Lichtenfels, New Florence and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Charles was a US Army Veteran of Korean War, member of Germany United Methodist Church and retired employee of J.D. Penrose Inc.  He enjoyed deer hunting

Friends received 10 am till time of service 1 pm Tuesday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence.  Pastor Paul Funk officiating.  Military rite by local veteran organization.
