I am very sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you in this difficult time. I know it’s hard to go through this pain, but I hope you may find comfort in knowing that God cares about how you feel and that He promises that “there is going to be a resurrection.” (Acts 24:15) (1 Peter 5:7) Won’t that be wonderful to see our loved ones again! I hope this promise brings you comfort as it does me.

Barb, Sons and Families,
We're saddened to learn of Paul's passing and extend our condolences to all near and extended family members.
Memories from the 1960's on the Shannon Creek homestead are numerous as Paul and my father Leo, toiled together as union carpenters. As a young teen I recall cutting grass for hours on a large lawn at Suschak's with a very small push mower. Rewarded by pop- sickles, cold soda-pop (from glass bottles) and fresh baked cookies from Barb's oven made a difficult task tolerable on hot summer days!! As a master cabinet maker, Paul's skill & experience were invaluable when building custom kitchen cabinets from native white oak stock in Suschak's home wood shop. Being multi-talented Paul would break out the hair clippers and buzz cut any and all available boy(s) in the wood shop while many bodies hand sanded the sized cabinet lumber. Shellac varnish spray mist sticking in your nostrils signaled the end of a work session and a delicious meal from Barb's kitchen and served family style, rewarding all woodworkers for their participation on the project. The quality of the construction remains evident, as the cabinetry remains in use today(50+ years later) wood looks great and functions as new. As an older teenager my brother and I provided laboring services on weekend residential construction jobs with Paul in charge of the projects, along with his promise to make us "carpenters" if we listened and learned to follow instructions with his message delivered in the "salty" language of a Gruff & Mean (NOT) ram-rod, boss-man as he chuckled openly when watching our immediate, positive reaction(s) when he yelled loudly and often!! He will be missed.
May he rest well in eternal peace. Chuck and the Altimus Families.

Dear Suschak Family:
So sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of our early years playing midget football and having Mr. Suschak as our coach. Although some thought he was tough on us, he was a real leader of young men. Thank God for him and his family.
