Obituary of Paul P. Suschak

Paul P. Suschak, 85, New Florence, passed away January 22, 2019 at AristaCare at Hillsdale Park.  Born October 11, 1933 in Johnstown the son of the late Metro and Anna (Tyshak) Suschak.  Paul was the last surviving member of his family.  He is also preceded in death by brothers James, Michael, Marshall, Walter, John and Charles Suschak.  Sisters Jean Hoffman, Ann Hrivnak, Steffie Babish, and Mary Lantz; Infant brother Ore.  Paul is survived by wife of 57 years, Barbara Lee (Merritt) Suschak; sons Patrick Suschak and wife Deborah, New Florence; Paul Suschak and spouse Jimmy Cates, Lake Worth, FL; Michael Suschak, Sidney, IL; James Suschak and wife Tricia, Morgantown, WV; John Suschak and partner Michael P. Jacobs, Jeanette.  Grandchildren Patrick and wife Christina, Jeremy; Nathan, Daniel, Jessica.  Great-grandchildren Ava Grace and Liam Hunter.  Numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Paul was an avid fisherman, bird watcher, and Notre Dame football fan, who enjoyed duck carvings, mowing his lawn, and numerous road trips with his wife to pick up cabbage, apples and various items. Paul was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Seward; retired Mill Rite Local 2235, retired Construction Worker and member of Carpenters Union.   (Do not delete this line.
