Obituary of Jacqueline L. Franklin

Franklin, Jacqueline L., 81, Robinson,  entered the Lord’s Kingdom, April 27, 2019 at Indiana Regional Medical Center.  Born July 18, 1937 in Apollo the daughter of the late Clarence and Hazel (Anderson) Kerr.  Also preceded in death by son-in-law William Cavalcante; grandsons C.J. Cavalcante and Daniel Cavalcante.

Survived by loving husband of 63 years Joseph J. Franklin; son Kirk J. Franklin and wife Debbie, Wichita, KS; daughter Karla J. Martin and husband Lou, Ohiopyle; Kristie J. Strong and husband Gary, Cross Junction, VA; grandchildren Joseph W. Franklin, Andrew Franklin, Tony Cavalcante, Paul Cavalcante, Jaclyne Cavalcante and Garret Strong; great-granddaughters Emily Franklin and Elizabeth Franklin; sister Pam Silk and husband Jim; Jennifer Barbus and husband Duke.

Jacqueline was a member of Robinson Church of the Brethren where she served as a deacon.  She enjoyed singing and spending time with her grandchildren.  She was a tireless servant of the Lord who enjoyed making others happy. 

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 PM Tuesday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence where service will be held Noon Wednesday. Pastor Farrel Abraham officiating.  Interment Germany Lutheran Cemetery.  Online condolences may be left at www.thestuartfuneralhomes.com
