Obituary of Rodger B. Boring

Boring, Rodger B., 71, Oil City formerly of Armagh, passed away June 28, 2019 in Butler.  Born September 5, 1947 in Johnstown, the son of the late Seward Blair and Betty J. (Montgomery) Boring.  Also preceded in death by first wife Sandra (Hunter) Boring and brother Dennis Boring.

Survived by wife Jane Winger, Oil City; children Tony Boring and wife Christi, Winchester, VA; and Angela Mohr and husband Levi, Armagh. Stepdaughters Stacy Winger and Kevin Berlin, Franklin; Crystal Krug and husband Daniel, Rouseville.  Grandchildren Kasey and Kylie & Jake Boring and Lyndsey and Mikayla Mohr; step grandchildren Hannah and Heydan Krug.  Sisters Barbara Nixon and husband David, New Florence; Kathy Jones and husband John H. Vintondale; and brother Gordon Boring and wife Penny, Vintondale. 

Rodger loved his grandchildren and cherished the time he spent with them.  Proud US Marine Corp Veteran who served in Vietnam.  He enjoyed traveling. Avid Pittsburgh Pirate fan.  Retired employee of Bethlehem Steel.

Friends received 2-4 PM Sunday; Morrison Funeral Home, 110 Petroleum St., Oil City, PA 16301. Also, friends received 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh, where service will be 11 am Tuesday. Rev. Jamie Fowler officiating. Interment Germany Lutheran Cemetery.
