Nancy A. Silk, 82, New Florence passed away Friday, July 12, 2019 at home, surrounded by her loving family.  Born October 5, 1936 in Lockport, the daughter of the late William and Thelma (Shirley) McKinney.  Also preceded in death by husband of 54 years Edward L. Silk.  Son Jim Silk. Brothers and sisters Sherman “Billy”; Vivian “Betty” Shaftic; George “Dip”; Paul “PJ”; Mary Burkley; Clifford; Harold; Harry; Shirley “Rene” McKinney; John Ronald.

Survived by children Bill “Bear” Silk and wife Barbara (Paynter), Brush Valley; Tom Silk and wife Pat (Payne), Strongstown; Cindy Allshouse and husband Eric, New Florence; Susie Allshouse and husband Tim, New Florence. 5 Grandchildren,  6 great-grandchildren. Sisters Sondra Boring, Bolivar and Salley Gademsey, Blairsville, and numerous nieces and nephew.

Nancy enjoyed sewing, quiting and doing puzzels, and going bowling.  She relished trips to the casinos and playing poker.  Most of all she loved her family and the time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

At Nancy’s request there will be no public viewing and a private service.  Interment Germany Lutheran Cemetery.
