Obituary of Lois Jean Davis

Lois Jean Dick Davis, 84, Ligonier passed away January 15, 2013 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born June 16, 1928 in New Florence the daughter of late Kenneth E. and Exie I. (Wagner) Dick. Also preceded in death by husband John C. Davis; son C. Gene Bartlebaugh; brother Norman L. Dick; foster-daughter Mary (Seiring) Murphy; foster-grandson Charles Murphy. Survived by children and foster children, Dale Davis and wife Sandy; Carol wife of Bob Faytol; Connie wife of David Pevarnik; Bob Biggs; Charles Seiring and wife Nana; grandchildren Donna, David, Keith and Colby; step-granddaughter Megan; and several foster-grandchildren; great-granddaughter; daughter-in-law Gwen Bartlebaugh. Member of Bethel United Presbyterian Church, Church of the Brethren Women's Fellowship, Waterford, Red Hats and beloved card group. Volunteer at St. Vincent DePaul Society, New Florence and Meals on Wheels. Friends received 2-8 pm Friday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence, and 10:30 till time of service 11:30 am Saturday at Bethel United Presbyterian Church, New Florence. Pastor James Sunseri.
