Betty was a wonderful friend to my mother for the 25 years they taught together along with Buena Graham on the 3rd floor of the Beaver Falls middle school. Nice lady.

Betty and I met in 1967 when I started teaching in Beaver Falls. We kept in touch even after she retired since we have both been members of Zeta Chapter, Delta Kappa Gamma for many years. I tried to call her at least once a year to let her know that we missed her being able to attend our meetings. A year ago we talked and she was still gardening, canning, and doing her china painting. What an amazing, dear, sweet lady! She will be missed and remembered fondly.

I was a student of Betty Wallace in Beaver Falls. She was a wonderful teacher and I learned so much from her, that I have carried on into my life. I enjoy cooking and sewing because of her. You have my deepest sympathy and my prayers go out to the entire family.

Miss Wallace was my Home Ec teacher in Beaver Falls Jr. High School. A very nice person and I remember many of the lessons she taught. We made fruit cake once, and also other lessons like how a young lady should sit down on the floor in a dress. I'm glad she had a good life and was a Christian. But of course, I knew that.

Betty was such a sweet lady. Always so kind & friendly. After I started working at Ideal Market (Riverside then) she came in with a ceramic plate that she had painted for me. It is beautiful. Still sits on my TV. I will cherish it forever. Will miss you Betty. RIP. Carrie Oliver

"Betty once told me my late Father, Harold Hoover, remarked on the beautiful garden she would grow each year. She went on to say he called her garden the 'best' ladies' garden in New Florence. Her sweet face beamed as she recalled that moment to me. This lovely and kind woman will be missed greatly."

I was introduced to Betty by Norm Kaufman when she needed some carpenter work done on her porch steps. That job was completed and led to me building closets in her bedrooms and then to finishing the walls leading to her basement and then the installation and completion of a new kitchen. She was always so gracious and told me I wasn’t charging her enough for the work I was performing. Thank you Betty for these memories and for being such a wonderful person who led a LIFE WELL LIVED. RIP!!! Condolences to the family. Arch Dodson

Betty you were our great neighbor for over 47 years. We have so many memories of the things we laughed about and enjoyed together. We miss you already. In every room of our house there are things that you made for us that remind us of your friendship and talents. Marge will always remember the early morning walks with you around the lower end of New Florence. Your garden fed so many folks in our neighborhood.

Betty was such a special woman, always a lady, extremely knowledgeable, an amazing cook and so dedicated to her faith and community. She would always make something delicious for after church functions, I would always ask for the recipe and she gladly shared it. When I worked in town for the sewer authority, she started sending me a recipe each week with her sewer payment. I make many of them often and well remember her fondly when I do.
