Obituary of Willivine Montgomery

Willivine “Beanie” Montgomery, 95, Clarksburg formerly of New Florence went to be with the Lord November 24, 2019 at home.  Born May 5, 1924 in West Wheatfield Twp. the daughter of late Steele and Lena (Brendlinger) Boring.  Also preceded in death by husbands Paul Irvin Penrose and Charles C. Montgomery; daughter Grace Koske; sisters Aretta Elofsky, Emma Robinson; brother Cloyde Boring.

Survived by children Norman Penrose and wife Judy, Clarksburg; Duane Penrose, New Florence; Calvin Montgomery and wife Sally, Peach Bottom, PA; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and  great-great-grandchildren; sisters Irene Penrose, Clyde; Thelma Morrow, Wyoming; brothers Dean Boring, Lyndonville, NY; Clifford “Skip” Marsh, Indiana; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Beanie was a member of Germany United Methodist Church, Duane Boring VFW Ladies Aux, and Robinson AARP.  She also bowled in the church league for a long time, was employed at IUP and Fred Penrose’s Store and was a Toy Ladies rep for many years.

Friends received from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday at the Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence, where service will be held 11 AM Saturday with Pastor Paul Funk officiating. Internment Germany Lutheran Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Germany United Methodist 351 Clawson Rd., New Florence, 15944.
