Obituary of Joseph Boston Uncapher

Joseph Boston "Joe" Uncapher, age 75, New Florence, died Tuesday, January 4, 2011 in Greensburg where he was recently residing. Born February 23, 1935 in Grapeville son of the late Eugene and Ida Mae Uncapher. He is survived by one son: Harry and significant other Margriet Van Es Uncapher of New Florence, PA; Brother of Elvajean Keller and Eugene Uncapher; Long time companion, Charlotte Close; cousin, Cathy Uncapher; and nephews, Dennis and Doug Keller. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was a retired as an iron worker. Member of Charles Sutton, American Legion Post 128, Bolivar where he had served as a past commander for 3 years, VFW Post 33, Greensburg and Eagles Lodge, Blairsville. Friends received 7 - 9 PM Thursday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St, New Florence where services will be held Friday at 11 AM with Rev. John Hodge officiating and military rite by local veterans organization . Internment Westmoreland County Memorial Park with military honors from VFW Post 33 honor guard at cemetery chapel.
