Obituary of John Hutchko

John "Doc" Hutchko, 90, Armagh died March 19, 2011 at Beacon Ridge. Born March 6, 1921 in Indian Head, Somerset County son of late Harry and Magdeline (Gumbolick) Huczko. Also preceded in death by wife Eva Mae (Shoup) Hutchko; brother Walter Hutchko and sisters Mary Jane Boyle, Ann Huczko and Janet Winchell. Survived by these brothers and sisters Mike Huczko and wife Virginia Clyde; Helen Nettles and husband Don, Tampa, FL; Charles Huczko and wife Eveleen, Clyde; Margie Huczko, Clyde; sister-in-law Jean Yarnal, Clyde; brother-in-laws Blair Shoup, Jacksonville, FL; Dean Shoup, Armagh; numerous nieces and nephews. Attended Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church. Retired employee of Bethlehem Steel Corp, Johnstown Plant. US Army Veteran of WWII. He had a sincere love for the companionship of children and teenagers and enjoyed watching sports. Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 pm Monday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St, Armagh, where funeral will be 11:00 am Tuesday. Rev Scott Hamley officiating. Interment Penn View-Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Military rite by local veterans organization.
