Obituary of Samuel R. Mack

Samuel R. Mack, 91, Indiana passed away March 3, 2020 at Beacon Ridge. Born August 2, 1928 in Buffington Twp., the son of late Samuel and Verna (Empfield) Mack. Also preceded in death by first wife Zella (Mitchell) Mack; sisters Olive Plowman and Lois Plowman. Survived by wife Mildred Mack; children Margie Book and husband Bill, Murrysville; Don Mack and wife Dianna, Dilltown; Janet (George) Duncan and husband Floyd, Vintondale; Ed George and wife Rosie, Homer City; David Speedy and wife Kathy, Huntsville, AL; Connie Speedy, Blairsville; Brian Speedy and wife Cristen, Lower Burrell; 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters Millie Campbell and husband Bill, Vintondale; Evelyn Cable and husband Bob, Johnstown. Sam enjoyed golfing, hunting and traveling. He was a retired employee of Halliburton and long-time member of Blacklick Community United Methodist Church. Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia Street, Armagh and 10 AM till time of service at 11 AM Saturday at Blacklick Community United Methodist Church, 1453 Bracken Road, Vintondale. Pastor Tom Phillips officiating. Interment Armagh Cemetery.
