Obituary of Rodney G. Colson

Rodney G. “Rick” Colson, 66, Seward, passed away May 8, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born July 12, 1953 in Johnstown, the son of the late Albert D. and Dorothy (McElwee) Colson. Also preceded in death by two infant grandchildren, brothers Albert, John and Ronald Colson. Survived by loving wife of 43 years Anna Marie (Miller) Colson; children Amy Hall and husband John, Ligonier; Albert Colson and wife Kelly, Seward; Rick Enders, OH; Millissa Haag, Erie. Grandchildren Alicia, Rick, Ryan, Jake, Tony, Louie, Jon, Cody, Annalee. Sisters Joanna Flurry, Arkansas; Mary Morgan, Ohio; Antoinette Barnhart, Derry. Rick was an auto mechanic at Neuner’s garage and enjoyed spending his free time outdoors hunting and shooting and was a ham radio operator. He loved his family and the time spent with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Rick’s family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Awan and staff, along with Windber Hospice, especially nurse Ginger, and Pastor Dave Kenyon.
