To the Sons of Greg Clark we express our deepest sympathy. We knew your Father for many years Robert works and shared an apartment with Greg, and i had many phone conversations with your Father. We have attended a few of his picnics on the farm. Had we known he passed we would have come and paid our respects and said our final goodbyes. With Sincere Sympathy. He will be missed. Greg and I stood many a watch together in the middle of the night. Had lunch with him and his family here in Charleston. Truly a great guy and will be missed!

I knew Greg when working on the LST 325 as a deck force member and will miss his humor and good conversations. Fair winds and following seas on your journey shipmate.

As Deck Officer in LST 325, it hurts my heart to have lost Greg as one of our crew. Greg's personality and work ethic were much appreciated by the Crew and he was a strong contributor to the fellowship we all share in keeping a WW II ship alive for the education of the American public. He will be sorely missed.
Rest in Peace Brother, we have the Watch.

Saturday I lost a great friend and shipmate. Greg Clark lost his valiant battle with Leukemia. Rest in peace my friend, we have the watch. Greg and I volunteered on LST 325 for 4 years, doing Spring Deck Work Week and the fall Goodwill Cruise each year. We both earned our Volunteer Jackets when we passed the 2,000 volunteer hours mark. We actually have over 2,400 hours. Our friendship started when our children were in grade school and we joined the Fairfield Boys Club. Or sons were best friends through high school and still keep in touch. When Greg retired and moved back to Pennsylvania we got together often and did a lot of things together. During our all day drives to/from Evansville, Indiana to volunteer on the ship we had lots of time to fill in the gaps on what happened in our lives when we were both busy with other things.
