Obituary of Nellie E. McAtee

Nellie E. McAtee, 88 of New Florence died June 27, 2020. Born February 21, 1932 in Cook Twp. She was the daughter of late Chester M. Queer and Rose A. (Lenhart) Queer. Also preceded in death by husband Edward F. McAtee, Sr. and infant son Timmy. Brothers Leonard and Ernest Queer. Surviving is son Edward F. McAtee, Jr. of Winchester, VA. Daughter Evelyn McCauley and husband Ed of New Florence. Grandchildren Amanda and husband Jeff Rohrich, Brenton and wife Alysha McCauley, Ashley and Husband Michael Huff and Kyle MaAtee, Tami, Cari, Tracy and Timmy. Great-Grandchildren Colton, Blake, Raquel, Richard, Kelly and Ashlynn. Brothers and sisers Chester Queer of Hillsville, Effie Nicodem of Derry, James Queer and wife Betty of Jamestown, Goldie Cunkleman and David Ishman of Indiana, Calvin Queer and wife Jenny of Blairsville. Numerous nieces and nephews and family friend Tammy Collins and her children Dillin and Victoria. Nellie enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Friends receive 2-4 and 6-8 pm Tuesday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier Street, New Florence where service will be 11 am Wednesday. Social distancing and face coverings will be required. Rev. Norman C. Kaufman officing. Interment Stahlstown Methodist Church Cemetery.
