Obituary of John E. Reilly

John Edward “Jack” Reilly, 77, of Luciusboro, formerly of Buffalo, NY died April 28, 2013 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. Born September 4, 1935 in Chicago the son of the late Patrick and Elizabeth (Bateman) Reilly. Jack was a devoted husband, father and Pap. He married Thelma (McMaster) on November 15, 1969, they were to celebrate their 44th wedding anniversary this year. Always loved hunting, fishing and baseball. Was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves. In addition to his wife he is survived by four children John Hopkins, Luciusboro; Debra (Hopkins) Gates, Amherst, NY; Jamie Reilly, Buffalo, NY and Sean Reilly, Luciusboro; grandchildren Natasha, Travis, Megan, Colin and Lilly; great-grandchildren Alexis Rae and Ava Rose; brother Joseph Franklin “JC” and wife Mary, Phoenix; sister Kathleen, California; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents and brother Jim. Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 pm Wednesday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh where service will be held 11 am Thursday. Internment Armagh Cemetery.  Rev. Robert Thornton officiating. Military rite by local veterans organization.
