Obituary of Rebecca Corinne Fitzgerald

Rebecca C "Bec" Fitzgerald, 41 of New Florence PA passed away on December 22, 2020 at UPMC Hospital, Altoona, PA.  Born to Thomas and Jayne Fitzgerald on October 6, 1979 in Johnstown.PA.  She is preceded in death by her sister Heather, her maternal grandparents Lawrence and Myrtle Knight, and paternal grandparents Walter A. and Marie Fitzgerald. She is survived by her parents Thomas and Jayne, siblings Jeremy, Kari, Bronwyn, Joseph, Stephanie, Cassius, and Nathan, brother in-law, Andrew Makdad, and nephew, Evan Makdad. 

Rebecca graduated from United High School, Class of 1998.  She graduated from Pittsburgh Technical Institute in the Class of 2000 and was awarded the Caligiuri medal for academic excellence.  She worked as a software engineer, most recently at Kencove Farm Fence Company in Blairsville, PA.  Family will receive friends from 10 am till time of Mass of Christian Burial 11 am Saturday June 26, 2021 at Holy Family Church, 425 Bridge Street, Seward, PA 15954.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susquehannock Trail Club, Box 643, Coudersport, PA 16915
