To all families, I'm sorry to hear about Shelley, she was a very nice girl, used to talk to her often when Joyland was open and would see her at the Sportsman's club. She will be in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless all. 2Tall

My best childhood memories were with Shelly. We grew up one house away from each other. I moved away after the 7th grade and about 7/8 years ago we reconnected. It was always great to see Shelly and catch up. My condolences to Jim and Shelly’s family. She will be missed.

I will always remember Shelly for her smile. I will never drive past Saint Vincent’s without thinking of Shelly selling her sweet corn. She meant so much to many in our community. Till we meet again.

Please accept my deepest condolences. I have so many great memories of Shelly stemming back to second grade. In Mr. Flack's room our mom's were room-mothers. Riding the bus was often a trip too! In high school there was a group of girls smoking in the bathroom and a teacher came in, no one would fess up so we all got detention. Shelly & I had a blast shooting peas with our straws! If I'd have know detention could be so fun I would have spent more time there! After RJ was born and times were tough, Shelly took me grocery shopping as we had no car. Once we stopped at beauty supply store and I was looking at tiny earrings for RJ, Shelly said pick her a pair and Ill buy them for her. How sweet!!! One day about 11 years ago, my dad & I were out for a ride and we stopped at her house. She took me through the whole place to show the work they'd done to it since I was last there in HS (my best friend lived there then). It was beautiful!!!! My most recent meeting with Shelly was late last spring when we talked about our gardens. She will be greatly missed and I am truly heart broken.
Sending Love & Comfort to all of you.
Michele
