I am saddened to hear of Mr. Page’s death. I recall with respect and fondness Mr. Page’s dedication in teaching the Algebra I and II classes, his wry sense of humor, and his kindness and compassion as our baseball coach during the 1970’s at Laurel Valley High School. My deepest condolences to Mrs. Bonnie Page and all the rest of the Page family.

It was with a heavy heart I learned of “Mr. Page’s” death. I knew him since the first day he and Bonnie arrived to start their lives in New Florence…he was a mentor to me, a protector, a teacher, and a family friend…I’m 72 and never once did I ever call him anything but Mr. Page ❤️

Family : Well the world has lost another great man. Gerald has passed. In addition to his great coaching history he was a member and If I remember correctly the president of the Laurel Valley Jaycees many years ago. Accomplished a lot or good things in the community and for mankind. One of a kind and you should be proud to have been part of that. Also great mentor for the youth he came into contact with. I only met him once or twice but I could tell he was someone special. God bless him and his entry into the great beyond. Charles Galvin--- Greensburg, Pa.

Mr. Page was a tough teacher but I remember how to do algebraic equations because of him and used that in my teaching career frequently helping my students. My family is saddened by his passing but know he is in a better place now… rest easy Mr. Page… you will be missed!

I will always remember Uncle Jerry as a soft spoken, well mannered GENTLEman. Even as a child, I could appreciate his knowledge, his kindness, and his humble demeanor. My Mom, one of his sisters, loved him beyond words, and still does, as we all do. We will miss you so much, Uncle Jerry, but also take comfort in knowing that you are in a far better place with your mom & dad and your sister and brothers who passed before you. Please say “hi” to my Dad for me, when you see him. Sleep well, Uncle Jerry. Love always, Debbie, Stu, and your sister, Jackie

Prayers for his family. Mr. Page was a big influence in my life. I took every math class he offered. He taught me what a good teacher is all about and he influenced me enough to become a teacher myself. Rest in Peace, Mr. Page.
