A quilt that Wanda had pieced together will be donated in her memory for the New Florence Senior Center basket party on Sunday, May 22nd at the Fairfield Firehall. I was honored to finish one of her many quilts. You will be able to see her handiwork at the firehall if you attend. Mike was very generous in donating Wanda’s unfinished projects and fabric to the Fort Palmer Project Linus sewing group. I didn’t know Wanda personally but I taught both Jill and Lance in elementary school years ago either kindergarten or first grade in New Florence school.(Mrs. Vogelsang back then) But I do feel I know Wanda’s love of sewing and quilting! May she Rest In Peace wrapped in her love of quilting!
