Obituary of Evelyn M. Boychuck

Evelyn Marie (Penrose) Boychuck, born January 11, 1935, was the daughter of Joseph and Ethel (Black) Penrose.  She was the last surviving of her 7 siblings.  As she would have said, her fat and sassy self was surrounded by her family when she went home to be with the Lord on June 12, 2022.

You (We) have known her by a few names, Evelyn Penrose, Condron, Wakefield, Boychuck.  Evie, Ma, Mom, Mama, Other Mother, Grandma Teatime, Nanny, your favorite Avon Lady, Legs, Elvis enthusiast and Sister in Christ.  She created a vast family of children (10), grandchildren (22) and great grandchildren (63) and 1 great great-grandchild.

Your smile would light up a room.  You always had a kind word, a prayer, a good meal and hugs.  You welcomed everyone you met as though you knew them your whole life.  You loved music, dancing and hard work and showed us what true unconditional love really means.

Thank you for always reminding us there is kindness and true love of people still in this world.  Through   your life you have lived out your faith and boldly proclaimed your love and faith in Jesus.  Your example will live on in us. We love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck.
