Obituary of Roberta A. Lichtenfels

Roberta “Bertie” Lichtenfels, 88, Robinson passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at home on June 22, 2022.  She was born July 13, 1933 in Robinson the daughter of late Blair and Margaret (Robertson) McGraw.  Also preceded in death by brothers Eugene “Gene” and Donald McGraw, sister Lois Younkin, grandson Phillip Lichtenfels and son-in-law Chris Peters.

Survived by loving husband of 68 years, Wayne “Cookie” Lichtenfels; children Donald Lichtenfels and wife Janet, Kevin “Lips” Lichtenfels and friend Jackie, Charles Lichtenfels and wife Pam, Robin Peters, and Amy Murray and husband Jerry; 11 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Sisters Sharen Brink and Joan Lichtenfels.

Bertie was a co-owner of Wayne’s Market in Robinson for 53 years and a member of Faith Lutheran Church.  She enjoyed puzzles, diamond dot painting, bowling, watching her birds, sitting by the fire with her grandchildren and was an avid sports fan.

Friends received 5 pm till time of service 8 pm Friday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier Street, New Florence.  Rev. Marsha Adams officiating.  Private interment Germany Lutheran Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, 6810 Rt. 22 Hwy.
