We were neighbors on Mc Kinley St. for many years, and I am so sorry to hear of Katie's passing. She was one of the nicest ladies you would ever want to meet. I introduced my kids to her on one of my trips back to Bolivar. From then on, every time we were in Bolivar, they would say, "Let's go to the drug store and see Miss Katie."

Katy was such a caring and loving woman and such a wonderful friend to my mother...I enjoyed so many many shopping trips when i would take her, my mom and jane to walmart, then to mcdonalds to eat..During the early pandemic we would go through the drive through window and all get burger meals and just sit in the parking lot to eat them..I loved hearing all the stories they would tell about them growing up...All i have i wonderful memories of Katy and she will forever be missed..RIP Katy and thank you for being such a wonderful friend to my mother...

Katie was one of the kindest, caring women I ever had the privilege to know. Katie always put the needs of others before her own. I will miss visiting with you when I am back visiting at my moms at the holidays. Heaven gained a new angel. With love and sympathy Melanie, Eric and Zoe Thompson
