Obituary of Darrell Lee Shirley

Darrell Lee Shirley, 62, of Homer City (Brush Valley), died Monday, August 5, 2013 at his residence. He was born August 31, 1950 in Indiana, the son of the late Arthur K Shirley and Mildred H (Deyarmin) Shirley. He was employed for 27 years for Dietrich Industries , and most recently for B&B Tree Farms. Darrell enjoyed hunting, working outdoors and his two cats. He is survived by two sons Children Dwayne Shirley and Adam Shirley and wife Jessica all of Richmond, VA; a daughter Candace; five grandchildren Austin, Tyler, Brandon, Tierra and Lauren. Also survived by his mother Mildred (Deyarmin) Shirley sister, Linda Joiner and husband Larry and brother Terry and wife Barbara, all of Homer City. Preceded in death by father Arthur K Shirley. Friends and family will be received from 4 to 8 pm Thursday at the Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St. Armagh where services will be held at11 am Friday with Rev. Tom Spiker officiating. Internment Armagh Cemetery.
