Obituary of Kathryn Mae Stewart
Kathryn Mae Stewart, 90, Roseville, MI, formerly of Homer City, PA, passed away January 15, 2023, at home. She was born April 3, 1932, the daughter of late Chaney Woodring and Hannah Woodring Dias. Also preceded in death by husband James Stewart, daughter Karen Renaud, granddaughter Breonna Adkins, brothers Chaney and Harry Woodring, and sisters Dorothy Woodring, Betty Nearhoof, Janet Wheeler, and Joan Cichon.
Survived by daughters Kathleen Adkins, Roseville, MI; Debra (Paul) Sabelhaus, St. Clair Shores, MI; Mary (Craig) Love, Clinton Township, MI;
grandchildren James (Christina) Renaud, Demara Poupard (late Brad), Amanda (Larry) Stevens, Edward Adkins, Benjamin (Kimberly) Sabelhaus, Elise (Jason) Adams, Adam Sabelhaus, Robert (Kaitlin) Love, Shannon (fiancé Andrew Sylvester) Love; 15 great-grandchildren; sister Sade Tupis, brother Murr Dias.
Kathryn enjoyed baking and cooking for her family, sewing, quilting, and working in the garden with her husband. She looked forward to Sunday family dinners and spending time with her grandchildren when they came to visit her in Pennsylvania. She was a member of the Red Hats and a proud member of Dilltown Baptist Church.
Friends received 1130 AM till time of celebration of life at 12:30 pm Saturday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St.,, Armagh follwed by committal service at Armagh Cemetery. Pastor Barry Brown officiating.
