Obituary of Darold Glen Duncan

Darold G. Duncan, 75, Johnstown passed away February 25, 2023, at Windber Woods.  Born May 6, 1947, in Johnstown, the son of late Glen M. and Mildred V. (Hill) Duncan.  Also preceded in death by brother David Duncan and nephew Shawn Duncan.

Survived by daughter Laryssa Duncan, Johnstown; sisters Corra Parish, Johnstown; Garland Duncan, Pittsburgh; former wife Patricia Duncan, Johnstown, and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Darold was a retired employee of Conemaugh Generating Station, member of I.B.E.W.  He was a skilled mechanic, welder, and machinist. After his retirement, he became an amateur genealogist, researching the family history rooted in Scotland, Poland, and the American Revolution. He was also a Sunday regular with his daughter and the Eat n’ Park in Westmont.

The family would especially like to thank the staff of Windber Woods and Windber Hospice for their wonderful kindness and care of Darold and his family during his illness.

Friends received 11 am till time of service 1 pm Thursday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E.
