Obituary of Judith Croyle Orlando

Judith (Augustosky) Croyle Orlando, 79, Vintondale, went to be with the Lord, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s, on July 15, 2023.  Born July 27, 1943, in Nanty Glo, she was the daughter of the late Stanley Augustosky and Mary (Machuta) Augustosky-Reese.  Also preceded in death by husbands Harry “Butch” Croyle, Jr. and Joseph Orlando; brothers Frank and John Augustosky; and sister Rose Marie George.

Survived by children Barbara Bailey and husband Randy, Vintondale; Melissa Cherry and husband Stanley, Blairsville; Diana Billow & husband Tim, Glen Mills; Scott Croyle and wife Saundra, Pittsburgh.  Grandchildren Ryan Bailey and wife Lacee, Tyler Bailey and wife Hattie, Robert Bailey and wife Lauren, Amanda Cherry and Garret Krupa, Leah Cherry, Jack Billow, Lily Billow, and Dylan Croyle.  Great-grandchildren Olivia Bailey, Elliana Bailey, Benson Bailey, Julian Bailey, Rhett Bailey, Baylor Bailey, Beckett Bailey, River Bailey, and Aurora Krupa.  Sister Louise Kachik and brother Steve Augustosky

Judy’s children were always first in her life, and everyone enjoyed her famous traditional egg hunt and making her perogies and pagach bread. She relished relaxing with her sewing and quilting.  Judy was very active in the various churches she belonged and most recently attended Community Gospel Church.

Judy’s family would like to extend a special thank you to 365 Hospice for being so caring not only to Judy but the entire family especially Maryann, Gloria, Sami, and Janine.  And to special friend Harriet.

Friends will be received from 4-8 PM Tuesday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia Street, Armagh, where service will be held 11 AM Wednesday.  Pastor Loren Marshall officiating. Interment Brush Valley Cemetery.
