Obituary of Patricia L Boring

Patricia Boring, 88, Johnstown formerly of New Florence passed away March 22, 2024, at Westmont Woods.  Born July 17, 1935, in Johnstown the daughter of late Henry and Vivian (Sarver) Gehlmann.  Also preceded in death by husband of 62 years Harold Eugene “Skunk” Boring who she married on February 14, 1953, brother Robert Gehlmann and sister Mary Heming.

She was like a surrogate mother to Carol Murray, Johnstown; and Kathy Adams and husband Jim, Johnstown; grandmother to Nicole (Andy) Penton and Michael (Cathy) Adams; and great-grandchildren to Evie and Benjamin.  Special friend Edna Reese and numerous nieces and nephews.   

Pat was a retired supervisor from Best Form. She enjoyed camping, cooking, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan and former season ticket holder. 

Friends received 1 pm till time of memorial service 2 pm Tuesday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence with Rebecca Maser officiating.  Interment Bethel Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 www.stjude.org
