Obituary of Tom Policichio

Thomas “Tom” Policichio, 84, Bolivar, passed away May 31, 2024, at UPMC Mercy, Pittsburgh.  Born July 17, 1939, in Throop the son of the late Joseph Giuseppe, Sr. and Mary Ann (Pascoe) Policichio. Also preceded in death by loving wife Joanna, daughter Linda Lawhead and granddaughter Melissa Lichtenfels.

Survived by children George Lichtenfels, Jr. and wife Sherry, North Carolina; Cheryl Miller and husband Donald, New Florence; ten grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.  Brother Joseph G. Policichio, Jr., Texas.  Also, numerous cousins.

Tom was an US Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era.  He enjoyed going to yard sales and flea markets, trips to the casino, gardening, talking to people and spending time with his family.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Monday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence where service will be held 11 am Tuesday.  Pastor Sharon Hamley officiating.  Interment Armagh Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers a donation of one’s choice in memory of Tom.
