Obituary of Eileen M Shomo

Eileen M. Shomo, 86, Seward passed away June 14, 2024, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.  Born February 1, 1938, In Latrobe the daughter of late Joseph and Eileen (Sims) Dollar.  Also preceded in death by husband Donald, son Joseph and brother Joseph Dollar.

Survived by children Sandy Shomo, Dennis Shomo, Eileen Shomo and Bob Bassett, Thomas Shomo, Roger Shomo, all of Seward and Jack Shomo, Greensburg.  Granddaughters Erica McIntire and husband Tracy, Robinson; Katie Smith, Blairsville; Carrie Cole, Seward; and Meghan Dole, Johnstown; great-grandchildren Ashton, Madison, Matthew, Maci, Layla, Neveah, Elliot, Dominick, Garrett, and Alivia; brothers Michael Fuggenthaler, and William Dollar, both of Latrobe; sister Denise Harr, Baggaley.

Eileen enjoyed scratch off lottery tickets, word puzzles, TV game shows, collecting nick knacks, drinking hot tea.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends received 2-4 and 6-8 pm Tuesday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence where service will be held 11 am Wednesday.  Interment Isabelle Cemetery.
