Obituary of Leora E Cramer

Leora E. (Mitchell) Cramer, 93, formerly of Dilltown, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. Born June 24, 1920 in Brush Valley the daughter of the late Charles W. and Elsie E. (Gressley) Mitchell. Also preceded in death by husband Harry W. Cramer; grandson Theordore W. Cramer, Jr., Sisters Florence Stiles, Viola Stiles and Mary Sesock. Brothers Wilbur, Clarence, Blair and infant brother Jackie Mitchell. Survived by children Mildred Lee Dunmire, Martinsburg, WV; Regina and husband Bill Miller, Brush Valley; Linda and husband Richard Kelly, Homer City; Carmen and husband Donald Loveday, Riverdale, MD; Ted Cramer and wife Earlene, Blairsville; Doris and husband Jim Anderson, Brush Valley; Margie and husband Raymond Hayes, Rural Valley; Pauline and husband Ed Fairman, Armagh. 17 Grandchildren, 33 Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren, Sisters Pearl Juart, Mineral Ridge, OH and Dorothy Brendlinger, Brush Valley, numerous nieces and nephews and special friend, Doris Rudd, Indiana. Leora was an Avon Sales Rep for years. Attended of Cavalry Brush Valley United Methodist Church, New Florence Senior Center and Chorus, Brush Valley Birthday Club. Active in Indiana County Civil Defense, assisting in 1977 Flood, and an avid quilter making quilts for many family members and friends. Played a mean game of Skip-Bo Friends received 7-9 PM Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9 PM Thursday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh, PA where service will be held 2 PM Friday. Pastor Richard Russell officiating. Internment Armagh Cemetery.
