Obituary of Karen L. Herrle

Karen Herrle, 65, Seward passed away December 22, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family.  Born May 13, 1959, in Puerto Rico, the daughter of late Gregory and Barbara Skrabut.  Also preceded in death by husband Richard Herrle, sister Diana Dorchak.

Survived by children Barbie Colson, Seward; Raquel Kmett, Johnstown; Drew Herrle and wife Polly, Armagh; grandchildren Kaitlyn Clark, North Carolina; Jayda Hutchison, Pittsburgh; Jake Colson, Seward; and Henry Herrle, Armagh; sister Vicky Skrabut, Seward, nephews Ariah Skrabut and Shawn Skrabut.  Also, several aunts, cousins and extended family members. 

Karen enjoyed making jewelry, crocheting, gardening and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

At Karen’s request there will be no public visitation or service.  memorial donations in Karen’s name may be made to the Humane Society of Cambria County 743 Galleria Dr Ext, Johnstown, PA 15904.
