Obituary of Franklin D McCullough

McCullough, Franklin D., 80, New Florence past away Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Laurelwood Care Center. Born November 7, 1933 in Seward the son of the late Joseph and Mayme (Bailey) McCullough. Also preceded in death by granddaughter Melisa Wagner, great granddaughter, Zakeia Shaw, brothers Horace, Merle, Ed, Joe, Bill and Jim McCullough, also infant brother Robert McCullough. Survived by wife June (Molisee) McCullough, children Duane McCullough, Harrisburg; Sharon Schompert; Karen McCullough and significant other Henry Morales; Sharlene McCullough, all of Johnstown. Grandchildren Marcie McGovern and husband Sean, Pittsburgh; Mindy McCullough and fiancé matt Killinger, Lebanon; Jeffrey Stivison and wife Marlo, Pittsburgh; Steven Stivison, Ligoner; and Tabitha Dollar and husband John, Kansas City, MO. 5 Great-Grandchildren. Brother Albert McCullough, Ligoner and sister Mary Coolbaugh, Portage. Frank was a plasterer who was retired from Plasters Allied Crafts. Who was well known for doing the plaster work in many of the local homes and businesses. Frank cherished his time with his grandchild and great-grandchildren. Frank was also enjoyed being outside and was an avid hunter. The family will receive friends on from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Monday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St, New Florence, where service will be held at 1PM Tuesday. Rev. Scott Hamley officiating. Internment Armagh Cemetery.
