Obituary of Delnora Bracken

Bracken, Delnora, 84, Robinson went to be with the Lord Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. Born July 13, 1929 in Robinson the daughter of the late Earl and Violet (Boring) Penrose. Also preceded in death by infant son Charles W. Betts; brother Raymond Penrose and sister Leona McElwee. A dearly beloved mother, grandmother and wife she is survived by her husband: Thomas Bracken, Robinson; children Donna Arford and husband James, Robinson; Ronald Betts and wife Patricia, Bolivar; Darrel Betts, Bolivar; Wanda Betts, Robinson; Marvin Betts and wife Veronica, Winchester, TN; Amy Bradshaw and husband Clifford Genchur, Indiana; step Children Boyd Bracken and wife Eleanor, Blairsville; Jayne Cook, Indiana; 19 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; sister of Betty Boring and husband Ira “Bing”, West Bolivar; Florence Haire-Holland and husband Wil, New Florence; Arthur James Penrose and wife Jo, Arkansas; sister-in-law and good friend Jean Betts, Bolivar. She was a member of Robinson Church of the Brethren and worked at Seeley Magnani's Hardware / Sewing Factories as a clerk and topsticher. Friends received 2-4 & 7-9 pm Friday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence and 10 AM till time of service at 11AM Saturday at Robinson Church of the Brethren, 211 High Street, Robinson. Pastor Farrel Abraham officiating.
