Obituary of Richard T Weimer
Weimer, Richard “Rick” T. Jr., 69, New Florence, passed away Monday, April 14, 2014 at home. Born December 8, 1944 in Johnstown the son of the late Richard T. and the late Mildren L (McMullen) Weimer, Sr. Also preceded in death by Grandparents, Brother Roy Weimer and nephew Kevin James. Rick’s death ends the union of his marriage of 49 years to Saundra (Harlan) Weimer. Also survived by sister Bernice Ribaric and husband Edward, Benshoff Hll; brother William Weimer and wife Theresa (Pentz), New Florence; special sisters-in-law; Christina (Harlan) Shawley, Mercedes Harlan, Veronica (Harlan) James and husband John P., all of Johnstown; Rebecca (Harlan) Ritchey and husband Lynn, Seward; nieces and nephews Bobby, Charlie, Tina, Jane and Billy Shawley; Kenny and Ricky Bloom; Brian and Kelly James; CJ and Travis Lovejoy; Eddie, Sherri, Lynn Ribaric; CJ Weimer and all of their families. Rick was employed at GAC Corp. Accounting, Allentown and Consolidated Coca Cola, Ebensburg. He was a graduate of United High School and Cambria Rowe Business School. His favorite pastimes were the study of genealogy, American Indian Culture, Vacationing at Cape May, N.J.; writing poems and short stories; coaching baseball and girl’s softball for United Youth Baseball League. Organizing for the Weimer Reunions at Everett, and spending time and delivery’s for C & T Pizza in New Florence. He enjoyed Thursday morning men’s breakfast at Grove Ave United Methodist Church. Friends received from 7-9 PM Wednesday, and 2-4 and 7-9 PM Thursday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh, PA where service will be held at 9:00 AM Friday. Rev.
