Obituary of Gilda A Galbraith

Galbraith, Gilda Ann, 86, Bolivar passed away April 24, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center. Born February 11, 1928 the daughter of late Vincent and Cleonice (Pace) Keck. Also preceded in death by these brothers and sister, Robert Keck, Jane (Keck) Gennaro and Ralph Keck. Survived by husband James D. Galbraith Sr.; loving mother of Cindy Thomas and husband Joe, Seward; James D. “Jim” Galbraith Jr. and wife Becky, Hoyt, KS; Nancy Larger and husband John, Webster, FL; Wendy Ritenour and husband Ernie, Bolivar; dear grandmother of Stephanie McCarthy, Timothy Galbraith, Gwen Warton, Jackie Long, Emilee Larger, David Larger, James Larger, Thomas Larger and Jillian Ritenour; several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Rudy Keck and wife Gladys, Seward; several nieces and nephews. Member of the former St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Bolivar and Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Seward; Bolivar American Legion Ladies Aux Post 128 and Robinson VFW Ladies Aux Post 9310. Gilda enjoyed bingo, gardening, dancing and spending time with her family. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Sunday, April 27th at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence. Funeral mass will be 10 AM Monday April 28th at Holy Family Catholic Church, 425 Bridge St., Seward. Rev. Robert M. Washko officiating. Internment Armagh Cemetery.
