Obituary of Leo W Plowman

Plowman, Leo W., 92, Gas Center went to be with the Lord on May 7, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center.  Born April 19, 1922 in E. Wheatfield Twp. the son of the late Joseph and Lottie (Ressler) Plowman.  Also preceded in death by daughter Sandy Plowman, sister Viola Bracken, brothers Melvin and Doyle Plowman.  Survived by wife of 70 years Lucille (Moose) Plowman; daughters: Linda & Husband Jerry Flack, Brush Valley; LuAnn & Husband John Buchkoski, Dover, PA; grandchildren, J. J. Buchkoski, York; Jennifer Flack, Pittsburgh; Jeff Flack and wife Jessy, Pittsburgh; Nikki Hoover and husband Mike, Camp Hill; brother Dean O Plowman , Gas Center. Leo was a life-long member of Blacklick Community United Methodist Church, retiree of Bethlehem Steel Corp, Johnstown Plant, also owner and mechanic of Plowman Garage, who served in US Army during WWII, and enjoyed traveling, camping and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Friends received 2-4 & 6-8 PM Friday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh and 10 till time of service 11 am Tuesday at Blacklick Community United Methodist Church 1488 Bracken Rd., Vintondale, PA 15961 Pastor Tom Phillips officiating. Internment Blacklick Community United Methodist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Blacklick Community United Methodist Church.
