Obituary of James E. Hamilton
Hamilton, James E., 89, Seward passed away May 26, 2014 at Memorial Medical Center. Born September 7, 1924 in Seward son of late Alexander and Lillian (Dorney) Hamilton. Also preceded in death by wife Marie (Shaulis) Hamilton, brother Bob and sister Virginia. Survived by sisters Louella Shaulis, Richland and Beverly Nields, Florence, Ky., numerous nieces and nephews and long time special friend Phyllis Hodge. Jim was an US Army Veteran of WWII and Purple Heart Recipient, Past Commander and Life Member of Thomas R. Lewis Jr. VFW Post 7022, Seward, also Life member of Seward Vol Fire Co., retired employee of Seward Generating Station where he was an electrician and was a local T.V. repairman for many years in addition to being a licensed pilot who enjoyed flying his own plane. He will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends. Gravesite service 11 am Saturday at Armagh Cemetery, Chaplain LCDR Leo Arnone officiating, with full military honors.
