Obituary of Ricky Eugene Steele

Steele, Ricky E., "Rick", 56, Blairsville, died August 8, 2014 peacefully at home. Born March 12, 1958 in Johnstown, the son of the late Perry E. and Elinor A. (Goodlin) Steele. He was proceeded in death by his mother, father, infant sister and great-nephew. Survived by step-mother Margaret B.; sister Candy Sue (Robert Parsley); brothers Timothy Q. (Judy); Christopher P. (Karen); Jason D (Jeannetta); nieces and nephews Amanda A. (Larry Stein); Cassandra L. (Wayne Somerville); Amber M. Steele; Bailey R. Steele; Luanda H. Steele; Jonathan A. Steele; and Georgia F., Steele; great-nieces and great-nephews Devin E. Henderson; Kaylee R. Stein; Camille D. Sommerville; and Rhys D. Sommerville. Rick was an avid hunter and outdoor enthusiast, made bird houses and performed odd jobs. Friends received 7-9 pm Friday at the Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E Philadelphia St., Armagh, PA 15920 where service will be held 11 am Saturday. Pastor Robert Parsley officiating. Interment Armagh Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with final expenses.
