Wesley John Smith, ‘Wes’ of Clyde, lost his War with Kidney Cancer with his wife and boys by his side. Born June 29, 1970 in Indiana Pa. Wes grew up in Blairsville. Survived by his wife Anna together for nearly 25 years, two sons Wesley D.L., Blairsville, Corey at home. Also surviving his parents Norman and Helen Smith of Blairsville, Brothers Jeffrey of Seward, David of Johnstown, Sister Selena of Blairsville, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and his in law family. Wes was employed as Ride Maintenance technician with Idlewild and Soak zone in Ligonier for the past 9+ years. Wes enjoyed hunting and fishing with his boys, camping and trips to Hershey, vacations to Myrtle Beach and driving around in his 1973 Ford Maverick. Wes was always cheering on his Pittsburgh Steelers. Friends received from 4 to 8 PM Monday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh where service will be held 11 AM Tuesday, Rev. Tom C. Spiker officiating. At Wes’ request in lieu of flowers send donations to Stuart Funeral Homes to defer some cost for his family or make a donation to Cancer Treatment Centers of America in his honor as he found peace and solace from them in his battles.
