Obituary of Joseph Yaworski

Joe Yaworski, 81, Gas Center, passed away February 23, 2015 which would have been the 58th anniversary of his wedding day at Memorial Medical Center. Born June 28, 1933 in Coalport the son of the late Mike Yaworski and Mary (Uadiski) Yaworski-Cherry Also preceded in death by wife Rita (Davis) Yaworski who passed on Oct. 8, 2012; sister Ann Stiffler; and infant brother George. Devoted father of Joey Yaworski and wife Cheryl, Dilltown; Terie Consalvo and fiancé Andy Forish, Gas Center; Rick Yaworski and wife Kathy, Westmont; Jeff Yaworski, Monroeville; devoted grandfather of Dana Wilhelm and husband David, Armagh; Greg Yaworski and fiancé Danielle Adams, Armagh; Amanda Yaworski and Brock, Boswell; Matt Consalvo and family, Portage; Joe was waiting for the birth of his first great-grandchild later this year; brothers Mike Yaworski and wife Dorie, Armagh; Jim Yaworski, Seward. Joe was proud 60 year member of UMWA local 1257 and a retired coal miner, who enjoyed bingo, watching Pirate and Steeler games and playing scratch off lottery tickets. A well known member of the community who enjoyed making people laugh, being a jokester and dancing with his wife especially to polkas. Friends received from 1-4 and 6-9 pm Thursday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh, PA. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 am Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Seward, PA. Rev. Robert Washko officiating. Interment Armagh Cemetery.
