My heart and prayers to your family. Betty was such a staple at United and a dear, dear friend of my mom and dad for many years. I will miss hearing stories of them going to Dave's Dream or just getting together. All of our love and prayers for her, Marlin/her family and for her blessings now with the Lord.
Love,
Kelly

Dale and I were deeply saddened to learn of Betty's passing an hour ago on Sunday evening. Our condolences go out to dear Marlin, Chris and Dan. She was a lovely lady. I can remember meeting her just before she and Marlin became engaged. We enjoyed seeing them yearly around Memorial Day. She will be greatly missed. Our hearts go out to Marlin and regret we could not be there for him.

Mom was the greatest mother anyone could ask for. She received much enjoyment from the simple things in life such as reading newspapers and sharpening her trivia skills watching Jeopardy. She also loved going to work at the school, going to church and sitting on the back porch in summers. No joy was more important than loving and being loved by her surrounding family. Honoring her parents and past family was just as important to her. Mom and dad faithfully planted flowers at many gravesites for memorial day. Mom was at her best at picnics, family dinners, and holidays, all with family. She loved cooking for all of us and made great meals! MOM, you and dad both were the rock that kept us grounded and on the right path. We will think about you daily and you will be truly missed. There is much comfort knowing you are with the Lord in Heaven.. We love you and will miss you always!
