King, Gerald Lee, 50, New Florence died June 23, 2011 in Aiken County, SC. Born July 6, 1960 in Somerset the son of Carl L. and Agnes Marie (Custer) King. Preceded in death by father. Survived by mother, Boswell; wife Karen (Shomo) King; step-children Jeff Howard and fianc Natalie Welch, Latrobe; Kelly (Howard) Botteicher and husband Bob, Bolivar; grandchildren Madison, Megan and Riley; these brothers and sisters, Lester King and wife Arna, Powell, OH; Patty Shahayda and husband Tim, Stoystown; Veronica Metz and husband Fred, Martinsburg; Linda Brooks, Plano, TX; Carl King and wife Linda, Alumbank; also several nieces and nephews, Gerald was a kind and compassionate person with a great love for animals. He'll be missed by his beloved pets. He cherished spending time with his family. Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 pm Tuesday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence where service will be held 11 am Wednesday. Pastor Ron Fish officiating. Interment Fairfield Cemetery.
